Its time to step up and sign Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox’s petition to try to get the Chicago diversion closed. Mr. Cox is leading the charge to prevent the Asian Carp from entering the Great Lakes eco-system. To-date, the Obama Administration has been rather un-cooperative with this effort. The wording of the petition is as follows:
We the undersigned, call on the Congress and President of the United States of America to immediately require the U.S. Army Corps to close the locks connecting Chicago’s carp infested waterways with the Great Lakes to prevent Asian carp from entering Lake Michigan and the other Great Lakes

I just hope they are successful with preventing these carp from entering the Great Lakes. Bad news from the films that I’ve watched.
